Young Artist Club - K-4 Grade
For students in grades K-4

No class on 12/23 & 12/30/2025
Financial Assistance Available: Headwaters Financial Assistance Application
If you want your child to grow in creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills while having fun, the Headwaters Young Artist Club is the perfect place for them to shine.
Each week, instructor Maranda helps young artists explore the seven elements of art—color, line, shape, value, form, texture, and space—while also introducing new art techniques and materials. As they experiment with different mediums, your child will:
Discover the styles and techniques that inspire them most.
Learn to think creatively and express themselves through art.
Build leadership skills by helping choose and lead projects.
Gain knowledge of famous artists and how they used the elements of art.
Monthly guest artist visits give children fresh perspectives and skills they can add to their own toolbox, keeping the experience exciting and inspiring.
At the mid-year celebration and final spring art show, your child will proudly share their work—boosting their confidence and giving them the joy of seeing their art appreciated by others.
By the end of the year, they’ll not only have a stronger understanding of art, but also a deeper sense of their own creative voice.
Why sign up?
Because in the Young Artist Club, your child isn’t just “doing art projects”—they’re developing skills, confidence, and creativity that will serve them for a lifetime.
